Trish is a nurse by background who went on to develop her career in healthcare workforce strategy, planning and education commissioning. She has had roles in the health service workforce structure for over twenty years and until recently was Director of Workforce, Education and Quality at Health Education East Midlands. She has long advocated the use of a whole system approach to planning and delivering workforce change to improve patient care. Trish joined WSP in 2015 and brings with her a continuing interest in strategic workforce planning and development, particularly across organisational boundaries. She is also keen to explore new opportunities and avenues particularly around how an understanding of relational value might enhance the functioning of healthcare systems and the communities they serve. Trish has a degree in Botany and an MSc in Health information Science.
