The Whole Systems Partnership has undertaken local and national work to help commissioners understand population needs for end of life care, and to help in the redesign of services. A full list of this work and associated material can be found using our database search from the home page.

This section of the web site highlights four pieces of work undertaken by WSP on behalf of the former National End of Life Care Programme:

  • The development of a simulation tool, with supporting material, to provide local commissioners with a strategic overview of end of life care needs (The Cohort Model);
  • A review of costings for end of life care services published in September 2012 (link to file download);
  • A report on the potential contribution that Predictive Modelling might make to identifying those with end of life care needs published in March 2013 (link to file download);
  • A report and online tool for undertaking your own economic evaluation of an EPaCCS implementation programme, with the ability to download and use outputs specific to your location (EPaCCS economic evaluation), which was followed up by the completion of a further evaluation completed in 2016.
